Letters

In an effort to save our community money, letters are being delivered to your doors by members of the community.

You should receive 1) a bill from Froerer and 2) a letter from the Board with the budget printed on the back.

If you are behind in your payments, you will also receive a collections letter with your bill from Froerer.

Why wasn't this posted before the letters were sent out? Why are there still homeowners who have not received their bill and it is due on January 1? Since when does a lack of preparation on your part become an emergency on ours? Why are you collecting fees based on a budget that has not been approved by the home ownership?

Need I go on?

Ditto to Shane above. Some answers would be nice before we pay. I want to know why we are paying so much more this year than last. And will we see improvements in how things are run this time around? $84 is A LOT of money to be spent on crap, which is exactly what I feel we're paying for. Answers, please.

Since I will not be at home to receive the "posted bill" are you going to mail it as per the CCR's? Just because I can access the blog, doesn't mean you shouldn't follow the existing rules.

Letters will be HAND delivered to each house, they will not be mailed.

Hoa Board. I mailed my payment, therefor I am a voting member of this HOA. I have yet to receive an actual copy of the "billing" from your agent Froerer Corp, Inc. I asked before if you would mail the notice since I would not be there to receive it in "hand", yet the short curt answer was they "will be delivered by hand". That is not acceptable. The CCR's do not provide for notice to be provided in that manner and you all know it.

OBTW, take this posting as my NO vote on the "proposed" budeget for 2010. You have not thought through the alternatives and your responsibilities.

I have said again and again, plowing the sidewalks and mowing the park strip ARE NOT the responsibility of the HOA. You are to maintain the "5 foot landscape easement" ONLY. The sidewalk and parking are PUBLIC property and are to be maintained by the adjacent homeowner, just as I do the one in front of my property.
Do not extend your perceived responsibility beyond what is required and save us all some serious money [$5200 in the proposed budget]won't you?

Insuring the fence on private land is an unecessary expense which could easily be eliminated, since the homeowner's insurance will pay to fix it if damaged by an act of God. If someone were to drive through it one day on the way to the mall their automobile coverage wouold pay. How much of the proposed $1171 insurance bill would that save us all? This subdivision is not a condominium with a true common area, yet I see you operating as if it were.

Please look seriously at what you are expecting us to pay for before you just move on with this budget.
