This blog is our public notice forum. We publish announcements for meetings, minutes for our meetings and important information.
Recently, comments have been made which are not conducive to our purpose in having this site. Questions or comments posted in the comments section of this blog will not be answered on the blog or by email. The Board of Directors holds public meetings where your questions can be asked and we can answer them publicly. All homeowners are welcome to attend the meetings and we wish more would attend to add their thoughts and concerns.

I would like to tell you I am sorry for asking where in the CC&R's you are pulling your policies from, but I am not.
I would like to come to your meeting to ask questions but when I have, I have been pushed to after the meeting closes so that our discussion would not show up in the Meetings Minutes.
Currently, you have all of your meetings on Tuesday Nights and I attend classes at the University on those night and thus cannot attend. Another reason why are are contacted via the blog and via email.
I have asked the questions openly, publicly and in writing so that the responses from the board are given opening, publicly and in writing to avoid the he said / she said scenario. This also avoids ones comments on interpretation. Those who live in this community are able to read what is written, and like I, can ask questions on the interpretation if needed.
Since I am not able to attend your meetings, I will continue to sent you emails and post those emails to the Lexingtonest.blogspot.com blog. If you choose not to answer those emails, it will also be noted.
You can have your blog and do with it what you will. That is your prerogative. I will however continue to keep the Community Blog for anyone and everyone. No one will be locked out from any posting, questions, suggestions or comments because it is not in agreement with my options or beliefs.

Correction: Your meetings are on Wednesday night not Tuesday, sorry for the mis-speak. I have classes those nights as well.

How is it that we are not allowed to comment and question the Board of Directors on this blog?
Jen once stated:
This blog was set up so that as a board we can post comments or suggestions and you as a community can comment on them or post your own comment about any questions you might have through the comment feature below posts. We are NOT filtering any information, if you chose to post a comment to the blog it will remain (unless there is something obsene, but that hasn't happened yet, thankfully). We are not using the comment moderation feature. Your HOA Board is monitoring this blog so that we can let you know what we are doing for your community.
This is YOUR HOA board blog, we welcome all comments from our neighborhood. Your comments are read by members of the board.
