Why do you continue to kick a dead horse? The budget was disapproved by the majority, at the Annual Meeting. The budget was disapproved, by the majority, at the meeting last month.
The budget is to be discussed and voted on at the Annual Meeting. Face it, you collected money on a budget that was never approved and now that it has not be approved again, you owe a refund to some homeowners. If you spent the money and don't have the refunds available, then come out and say it.
When you decided that you were voted as the Board of Director's last spring, you took on a certain level of responsibility. It is time to step up and be responsible for your actions, or lack of. I don't know what is going through your head, but you are responsible to us - the Homeowners.
You took control a last spring, how about taking control now.
Your attempt at a budget died - TWICE - figure it out and move on.
What, are you going to keep having meetings and spending your wheels till you pass something? Tell you what: follow the CC&R's and try again at the Annual Meeting in June, WHEN THE BUDGET IS SUPPOSED TO BE VOTED ON! ! !
Or you can complete the paperwork to get me out of this mess of an HOA you have created and {poof} I go away. How about doing us both a favor. The clock is ticking.
