Next week Wednesday, February 10, 2010, the Board will be meeting. We have asked for individuals that are interested in being on the Nominating Committee to attend this meeting (if you are unable to attend but are interested, please email us with your intent at lexingtonhoaboard@gmail.com).
Duties of the Nominating Committee will involve contacting and seeking out individuals that are interested in becoming members of the Board of Directors. The committee needs at least 3 members.
As soon as the Nominating Committee has been formed, we will post their information. Then you may contact them directly if you are interested in becoming a member of the Board of Directors.
Individuals may also request to be nominated by sending a petition to the Secretary signed by ten (10) or more unit owners and signed by the nominee named. You may direct these to Ed Takacs, HOA Secretary, 2451 W 1340 N, Clinton, UT 84015.
Members of the Nominating Committee will recommend one nominee for each position on the Board that needs to be filled.
Please volunteer to help on this committee, this is a short term commitment that we really need your help with. Members of this committee will not become members of the Board of Directors, but will help find individuals that are interesting in becoming long-term members of the Board. Thank you.

The last time you replaced Board Members, it was supposed to be a short term-commitment. You decided to dictate that it was a long-term commitment by not having those positions elected out at the Annual Meeting as stated in the CC&R.
Everyone who is interested in this position should be made aware of that.

Before you move on to other business, are you going to address this?

If you look at the posting, Ed never said whether the Budget was disproved by the community or not. All he did was post some numbers saying that this was the results. Those who are at the meeting know that this can't be all of the votes. So the question that remains is? What was the total of all of the votes? This includes the Budget Meeting, Absentee Ballots and other forms at which votes were cast (I sent my vote of NO via email and stated that I would fill out a ballot if they requested one. They never did so I am assuming my vote was counted.)
So Ed, what was the final tally of all of the votes that were submitted, broken down by how they were submitted. Example: Budget Meeting (5 yes, 20 no) Absentee (13 yes, 11, no) Email (2 yes, 2 no).

I really don't get this blog? If it's supposed to be devised to ask questions...why have it...no one from the "Board" answers this or their email?! Why bother? It used to be a Board member (Jen) jumped on board & eventually answered "some" questions. Let's see who answers this one question...what Board positions are being replaced...in case anyone ie: as myself would care to know if we by chance wanted to be on the Board? Care to answer....anyone would do. Thank you.
Marie,
You have 3 Board members on the way out. Do you really think that they are going to answer mine or your questions or requests? They are going to walk away from the Board and expect the new Board members to clean up their mess.
